I am a first year doctoral student in Information Studies, working with Dr. Amanda Lazar at University of Maryland's Human-Computer Interaction Lab. My research interests span a broad range of topics focusing largely on human-computer interaction, ubiquitous computing, accessibility and technology design for underrepresented populations.
I completed my Masters in Human-Computer Interaction from University of Maryland, College Park (Thesis advised by Dr. Leah Findlater and Dr. Amanda Lazar) and Bachelors in Industrial Design from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, (India).
I have also worked as a UX designer at Newgen Software Technologies Ltd., India (2015-2016) and as a UX research intern at TIBCO Software Inc. (Summer, 2018).
